Award-winning web design agency that measures what it claims

Most agencies talk about sustainability. Very few can show you the number.

Agnikii Digital is an award-winning web design agency in Gloucester, building websites that load fast, built to WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards, and carry measured carbon data behind every claim made about them. Not estimates. Not badges. Actual figures, from your site, that you can hand to a client, a board or a tender. That standard shapes everything here, including what gets left off this page.

The decade that led to Agnikii Digital’s award-winning web design agency.

For over a decade, I built websites and apps for some of the biggest companies in the UK. Work I was proud of. But year on year I watched those sites grow heavier, slower and less honest about it, and eventually I couldn’t unsee it. Agnikii Digital is what I did about it.

Everything that decade taught me about what really moves speed, rankings and conversions, I turned into a method, and I hold it to a standard the rest of the industry would rather avoid.

Why our award-winning web design agency exists.

Agnikii DriftGuard carbon reporting dashboard, Sustainable Website Maintenance

The web has a measurement problem, not just a carbon one.

A typical 2MB homepage emits around 420kg of CO2 a year at 10,000 monthly visits; that’s 2,079 miles driven! (and that’s just one small site).

That is the industry estimate, and most businesses have never measured their own. The same bloat driving those emissions also fails Core Web Vitals, damages search visibility and quietly loses sales.

The industry’s answer has mostly been to market sustainability rather than measure it. Agnikii Digital exists to do the opposite.

Performance first, carbon as proof.

Not every client cares about emissions. Every client cares about speed, rankings and enquiries.

That order matters, and it is why eco-friendly web design here never comes at the cost of results.

A lighter site loads faster, ranks better, converts more, reaches more people and emits less. One set of decisions, five outcomes, no trade-off to negotiate.

So the conversation leads with what a business actually needs. The environmental result is the receipt, not the pitch.

Who we work with

Agnikii Digital works with SMEs, local businesses, purpose-led organisations and B Corps, mostly across Gloucestershire, the wider South West and beyond.

Our sustainable website services in Gloucestershire and beyond cover a lot of ground: manufacturers, professional firms, eCommerce retailers, consultants and charities.

What they share is a need for a site that performs and, increasingly, a need to prove that their digital presence matches the values they publish.

One person is accountable for your project, and it is the same person who does the work. No account manager relaying messages. No junior quietly inheriting your build. No handoffs between departments where context and quality leak away. You speak to the person making the decisions, which is why the whole-stack approach is possible in the first place. That means capacity is deliberate rather than unlimited. Fewer projects, more attention, and a straight answer about timelines before anything starts.

We don't estimate our impact. We measure it.

Most common questions

01

Who is Agnikii Digital?

Agnikii Digital is a sustainable web design agency based in Gloucester, working with SMEs, purpose-led organisations and B Corps across Gloucestershire, the wider South West and beyond.

Our sustainable digital agency designs, builds, optimises and maintains websites that load fast, are built to WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards, and come with measured carbon data rather than estimated claims.

02

Who founded Agnikii Digital?

Anthony Whitefield, who spent over a decade building websites and apps for some of the UK's largest companies before founding the agency.

That whole-stack background across design, development, search, accessibility and carbon measurement is what makes end-to-end accountability possible on every project.

03

What makes Agnikii different from other agencies?

Measurement. Most sustainability claims in this industry are assertions with nothing behind them. Projects produce a Carbon Delta: before-and-after data on page weight and emissions, modelled from measured page weight on a standardised 10,000 monthly visits.

If a figure cannot be evidenced, it does not go on the site.

04

Do I have to care about sustainability to work with you?

No. Most clients come for speed, rankings and enquiries, and that is exactly what the work leads on. The lower carbon footprint is the receipt rather than the pitch.

If sustainability matters to you, the measured data is there. If it does not, you still get a faster, eco-friendly website design.

05

How big is the agency?

Deliberately lean. One person is accountable for your project, and it is the same person doing the work, which means no account managers relaying messages and no juniors quietly inheriting your build.

Capacity is intentional rather than unlimited, so you get a straight answer about timelines before anything starts.

06

What areas do you work in?

Based in Gloucester, with a core of clients across Gloucester, Cheltenham, Bristol and Swindon. Work also runs UK-wide and into the US, and remote collaboration is well established, so location is rarely the deciding factor.

The South West is home ground rather than a limit.

07

What is the first step?

Usually, a free carbon audit shows where your current site stands on speed, accessibility and emissions before you commit to anything. From there, a conversation about what would actually help. No pitch, no jargon.
